Ian Evans moved from England to Canada in 1985 after a brief stint in Zambia as part of his work as a Chartered Accountant, and has lived in Elora for 22 years.  Ian has been on numerous extreme expeditions around the globe: climbing 5 of the "7 summits"; cycling from the Pacific to the Arctic Ocean; around the coastline of Iceland; and in 2012 completing a solo and unsupported ride of 5,000 KMS across Australia.  In 2017, Ian again crossed Australia with 2 friends from south to north following the track of the first explorer - John McDouall Stuart. Ian’s latest expedition in 2021 was to cycle 8,000 kms across Canada connecting with all 10 provinces.
